  1. Where is Engineering Connections first being implemented?
    Engineering Connections is being developed as a pilot for Guilford County Schools Middle Colleges located on the Jamestown and Greensboro GTCC campuses and Weaver Academy.

  2. What type of Engineering Connections are being planned?
    The Middle Colleges determined that Lunch & Learn, Job Shadowing, Tours and Staff and Student Development (Special Speakers) would be best for them to start with.

  3. What do the rotating Banner Icons Mean?
    The rotating people icon denotes interaction of Education and Industry partners people.  The rotating icons on the left denote the Industry partners.  The rotating icons on the right denote the Education partners.

  4. What is a Middle College?
    A Middle College is a High School that is located on a community college campus where students can take college level courses while in High School.

  5. How does this support Demand Driven Workforce Training?
    One of the objectives of this program is for Industry Partners to bring to the schools better understanding of what Industry Skills are needed for the 21st Century Workforce.
