Education Alliance develop a program
to bring "Real Life Engineering
Experience" into the
classroom.
The purpose of "Engineering
Connections" is to develop Skills for the
21st Economy by bringing Engineering
Experiences into the classroom through
Lunch & Learn/Classroom
Connections, Staff Development and
Job Shadowing/Mentoring. The program was
conducted during the Guilford County Schools
2008 Fall -2011 Spring year with 72 people
sessions; (people sessions
correspond to number of persons
conducting session, i.e., 3 people
jointly conducting a session
represents 3 people session; one
person conducting three sessions
would also represent 3 people
sessions).
